I decided to attend Lakeside after a strong calling towards the field of Massage Therapy. The courses were very intensive and informative about how the body works and how massage benefits the physical and psychological aspects of the client. I graduated in October 2006 with 750 hours of training in massage & bodywork, anatomy&physiology, pathology, site specific, kinesiology, and ethical practice information.
Since graduation I have been drawn to the therapeutic aspects of being a Massage Therapist. Because of this, I have been able to build strong relationships with my clients and have been able to see the true benefits of this work unfold within each person I have worked on. As I grow as a therapist, I continue to try to learn more about the mind-body connection and how to further help everyone I touch.
